10 Questions with Mitchy Peterson

1 When did you join the club?

When I was 6 years old.

2 What do you think about being a member of our club?

I love getting together once a month with my mates to surf with only four people out in sometimes pumping conditions.

3 What type and size boards are you riding?

I am riding JS Surfboards and they are 4’8”.

4 What’s your favourite local break and conditions?

Tea Tree Bay through to First Point when the swell is pumping.

5 What’s your favourite manoeuvre and why?

An air reverse because it feels cool to be in the air and land backwards.

6 What is your favourite colour?

Pink and blue.

7 Who is the funniest person you know and why?

Monty McGavin, because he is just so funny.

8 Who is your favourite local surfer and why?

Cooper Davies, because he’s Noosa’s friendliest surfer and rips the hardest.

9 Who is your favourite Pro surfer and why?

Julian Wilson, because he lives on the Sunshine Coast, I like his style and he is super kind to me.

10 What did it feel like to win a Qld state title, did you froth?

I was so happy, and frothing really hard!
