Get in, Get out & Vintage NBC T’s

Stuck inside! Check through those old surf photos and dream some. Here’s some vintage Noosa surf history from the Noosa Surfriders Club, now the Noosa Boardriders Club archives the biggest surf competition in Australia at the time and bunch of our Noosa Boardriders Club Tee Shirts from days gone by.

Try to stay at home but if you decide to go for a surf, “Get in, Get out” a simple message for our surf time to be saved. For many of us a daily or weekly surf is a ritual that we could be without for months if we are not mindful on this one. If you are heading for a surfercise there are waves around and good ones at that check for less crowded options and spread out.

A heap of waves pushed through this week with a few good clean morning peaks on the Sunshine to Castaways stretch before the wind clicked around to the SE. This early morning WSW wind pattern continued over the weekend with 2ft of swell it might have been enough to get your fix. The points have been producing small lines on the lower tide, its lacking power take your fish or high volume board. Noosa West also has a quality bank that seem to be ok just off low through to high. Rumours are circulating that Alex Bay has a rip gutter left in the middle of the beach and the right in the corner shaping up, worth a walkn as the wind swings to the SE and the swell eases this coming  week. If members have any photos of you surfing or hanging out send them through and well put them up!

Keep a positive healthy frame of mind, spread out, stay safe and look out for your fellow members and mates.
